While everyone is excited about the colorful display of paintings, South Arts Festival will also be having booths that will specialize in sculpture and pottery to add more artistic depth and eye-candy for the one-day event.
Sculptor Richard Buxani, who recently has a solo show entitled “Materialization” at Estancia at Captial Commons, will have several sculptures of varying sizes, even a 7-foot sculpture to be displayed at The Filinvest Tent lobby on the day of the event. Buxani pieces together a lot of scrap metal in order to come up with interesting figures.
Meanwhile, pottery will also have a chance to shine with Cornerstone Pottery Farm showcasing unique hand-made plates, bowls, mugs, pots and tableware. You name it, they’ve got it all, molded from clay and colorfully glazed to give its own unique identity. What’s also amazing about Cornerstone Pottery Farm is that they offer field trips, tours and workshops at their getaway in Silang, Cavite.
South Arts Festival will be on Sunday April 22, 2018 from 10am to 9pm at The Filinvest Tent, Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa.
South Arts Festival is partnered with City of Munitnlupa, Cultural and Tourism Development Office (CTDO) of Muntinlupa City, Crimson Hotel, Don Papa Rum, Cityneon, Art Nebula PH, Community Connect, Inside Manila and Art+ Magazine.
